AKTEL GPRS Setting

Through GPRS, you will be able to browse the internet through your phone,
through your laptop and send/receive MMS. Please see newspapers for more
details on this. In order to use this service, you need to have a post paid
connection.

In order to use GPRS, please enter the following settings on your phone:

GPRS settings -> enter the following info. Settings name: Aktel, Homepage:
http://wap.aktel.com/wap, Data bearer: GPRS, GPRS access point/APN: WAP,
IP/DNS: 192.168.023.007. Proxy server: 192.168.23.7, Port: 9201

Keep the username and password blank. Leave all other settings as default.

Once these settings have been entered you should be able to use GPRS without
any hassle. If your phone is MMS compatible then program the following
settings as well.

The MMS configuration details are as follows:

Settings name: Aktel
Homepage: http://192.168.23.4/wap
Data bearer: GPRS
APN or GPRS access point: WAP
IP address or DNS: 192.168.23.7

User name and password to always be blank.

Please note that for the moment you can only send/receive MMS from Aktel to
Aktel. You can also send MMS to any e mail address.

This service is given free on trial basis for the first 2 months for all
AKTEL post-paid users. During this period MMS, sent will also be free.
