Balance Transfer on GP FlexiLOAD

GrameenPhone Ltd. has introduced a new “Balance Transfer” feature of FlexiLOAD, the electronic re-charge system, for GP pre-paid subscribers from today (June 9).

The Balance Transfer feature will enable all GP pre-paid subscribers, EASY, EASY Gold and djuice, to transfer certain amounts of balance to any other GP pre-paid subscribers within the defined business rules.

Subscribers will be able to transfer balances from Tk. 50 to Tk. 200 and they will be able to transfer balances for a maximum of 40 times in a month. Regular SMS charge (Tk 2+ VAT) for the sender and only Tk. 2 for the receiver is applicable for each balance transfer transaction.

A receiver’s temporarily de-activated connection can be activated with this transfer. The validity of receiver’s account for any transfer will be 3-days and a subscriber with more than 3-day validity will enjoy the higher validity period.

To register for “Balance Transfer”, write “Regi” and send an SMS to the number 1000. In the return message you will receive a 4-digit PIN number, save this number for future reference and use. To transfer balance, go to the message option, write “Btr”, leave a blank space, then enter the PIN number, leave a blank space, enter the recipient’s GP pre-paid number followed by an empty space and finally the amount of money to be transferred. Send the SMS to the number 1000. In return message, both the sender and receiver will get confirmation messages along with their respective balance amounts.

GP subscribers can also write “Help” and send an SMS to the number 1000 for any assistance.
