Grameen Phone is introducing a 30-second Pulse for the first minute for calls made from all GP pre-paid and post-paid connections, starting from April 3, 2005.
For the GP Pre-Paid products, the 30-second pulse during the first minute will be followed by even lower, 20-second pulse from the second minute onwards. This 30-second pulse for the first minute is also applicable for My Choice, My Time, My EASY and EASY Hour facilities. The 20-second pulse from the second minute is an added benefit for GP pre-paid subscribers as no other operators are providing it.
All GP post-paid subscribers will also enjoy 30-second pulse during the first minute and 15-second pulse from the second minute onwards.
In addition, GrameenPhone is introducing a promotion for a period of one month only on increasing the validity of the Tk. 300 scratch card. The validity of the Tk. 300 pre-paid scratch card, purchased during the promotional period, is being increased from 31 days to 180 days. Even after the validity period expires a subscriber will be able to receive calls from any mobile for seven more days.
The valued GP post-paid subscribers will also benefit from a reduction in Monthly Access Fee. From now on, Monthly Access Fee for GP Regular and Anytime 450 will be Tk 350 instead of Tk. 500 and for GP National it will be Tk. 150 instead of Tk. 250.
At the same time, GP is also withdrawing the Inter-zonal and Network Mobility charges applicable for GP Regular connections. A 15 per cent Value Added Tax (VAT) is applicable for all charges.
